The Internet is slowly
transforming the new media because the people are depending on online sources
of news instead of traditional print and broadcast media. Most of the people
surf the sites like CNN but also turn to unique online news sources such as
weblogs. The Internet provides text, audio, and video information. New Media is
transforming the traditional media. We can take example of weblogs- known as
blogs. Blogs have become very significant in the 21st century.
Bloggers express their opinion on different issues and thousands of people give
comments. The web also allows for a more interactive approach by allowing
people to express their opinion. Many prominent personalities write their blogs
and give unbiased opinions. Blog writing’s essential feature is direct
participation of a blogger. Blogs are not only transforming traditional media
sources but holding them more accountable too.
